Title: A Court of Mist and Fury (ACOTAR book #2)
Author: Sarah J. Maas
Reading Timeline: 20-26 May 2016
10 out of 10!
Feyre is immortal.
After rescuing her lover Tamlin from a wicked Faerie Queen, she returns to the Spring Court possessing the powers of the High Fae. But Feyre cannot forget the terrible deeds she performed to save Tamlin’s people – nor the bargain she made with Rhysand, High Lord of the feared Night Court.
As Feyre is drawn ever deeper into Rhysand’s dark web of politics and passion, war is looming and an evil far greater than any queen threatens to destroy everything Feyre has fought for. She must confront her past, embrace her gifts and decide her fate.
She must surrender her heart to heal a world torn in two.
Overall: This books is definitely steamy. In fact, I don’t think ACOTAR is steamy at all compared to ACOMAF. This book is more dense, detailed and fancy than ACOTAR. It ended so quickly that I went like “That’s it? It ended?”
But for ACOMAF, you get more insights as to what the hell is really going on and just more of everything. Update: But still, GIVE ME MORE! I swear if book three is 1000 pages, I would live through it, happy.
I feel like Rhys is the only one who can truly make Feyre truly laugh. One who notices every detail about Feyre and one who gives true opinions as to what he deems fit. And most of the time, they both think the same eg the wedding dress. *(Update: No wonder. They’re mates!)
* Speaking about mates, that plot twist though! And making the Suriel expose that fact? Damn, Sarah! You did it again.
Super worth your time and money. Definitely a to-read.
