Review:

So many POVs, I can’t even..

Characters: I feel like in this book, I don’t particularly care about the characters or have any emotional connection with them. *Like when Aedion said “when she came back, he was never letting her go.” I’m like ‘okay’.

Especially Sorcha’s POV. Like, I don’t give a shit. Except for the fact that I hate her guts. Attention seeker and a ‘why-is-she-in-here’ character…

Manon and Aeidon though, liking them by the chapters

Plot:

I think what made Heir of Fire unique, was that Sarah J. Maas decided to not explore fantasy romance but the possibility of adventures instead.

Romance are sometimes too overrated and cliche in YA fantasy novels, and I feel that Sarah J. Maas made the right decision of not flowing the trend and did what the minority did not to-not involve romance.

Overall: pretty impressed with the intense ending but still not okay with random characters and *them dying 😟

Done!
